Norwood Helps Sled Dogs Beat Flight, 15-7
Spirited fans greeted the San Bernardino Flight for their clash with the Juneau Sled Dogs.

In the 15-7 Juneau win over San Bernardino, the impact of Chris Norwood was substantial. Norwood, who is tied for 6th in the SC in hits with 123, was 3-5 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Juneau reliever Felix Salas picked up the win, upping his record to 6-2. Alex Cendejas was saddled with the loss.

With Juneau trailing 5-2 in the top of the fifth, Norwood hit a fastball from Alex Cendejas for a grand slam home run. It was his 26th home run of the season and put the Sled Dogs ahead, 6-5.

"I felt good about my swing," said Norwood.

The Sled Dogs sport a record of 49-26.
