Jacksonville designated hitter Bobby McFarland helped his team beat the Crystal Lake Killers, 12-8. McFarland went 3 for 4 for the Nationals. Jacksonville has now won 6 straight.

Jeff Matchette hit a 2-run home run off Davis Novoa in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Nationals ahead, 8-7. In addition to the homer, Matchette had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"Enjoyed this one," McFarland told the Jacksonville Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
