Cantu Helps Wolverines Beat Griffins, 11-3
The Riverside Wolverines put together a convincing win at Griffins Field, defeating the San Antonio Griffins, 11-3. Tony Cantu was one of the hitting stars. He went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Riverside. The winner was Jonathan Miron, who threw 125 pitches over 8 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits. Riverside is now 28-45, San Antonio 31-42.

Cantu made an early impact for Riverside when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the top of the second, put the Wolverines on top, 4-0.
