Tedder 4-for-5 to Fuel Wolverines Offense
The Riverside Wolverines beat the Jacksonville Nationals, 9-5, at Wolverines Ballpark. The Wolverines got a fine performance from designated hitter Brad Tedder, who was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Shinkichi Hirata was the winner. He's now 3-1. The loser was 19-year old left-handed pitcher Neil Hassett. The victory gives Riverside a record of 47-24.

Riverside grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Tedder hit a 3-run home run off Neil Hassett. His 19th home run of the season put the Wolverines out in front, 5-2.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Tedder told the Riverside Herald.
