Brad Porretta could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Haviland Thrashers lost, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Biloxi Jackpot at Impact Stadium. The Jackpot go to 29-42 with the win.

Biloxi took a 1-0 lead on Rafael Miranda's 10th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Miranda hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Haviland pitcher Brad Porretta visibly frustrated.

Miranda attributed the win to his team's "grittiness."
