Imperials Fall Short, 6-5, at Jacksonville
Jacksonville beat Chuluota at Nationals Park, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to right fielder Jeff Roberts. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jacksonville pitcher Edwin Lozano got the win, upping his record to 3-2. Jose Vasquez got the loss. Emmett Rogers collected save number 2.

Roberts had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-1 slider from Jose Vasquez, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Nationals a 5-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Roberts.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Larry Voltaire, the Chuluota manager.

The loss makes Chuluota 21-46.
