Romero drives in 4 runs to Power Killers Offense
The Crystal Lake Killers knocked off the Riverside Wolverines, 8-6, at Killer Stadium. Andy Romero was a big reason Crystal Lake won. The right fielder went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Jordan Carreon earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 1-1. Crystal Lake is now 26-42. Riverside is 45-23.

With Crystal Lake leading 3-2 in the bottom of the third, Romero hit a curveball from Tabari Jamal al Din for a grand slam home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Killers ahead, 7-2.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Romero told the Crystal Lake Gazette. "It's as simple as that."
