Behind an impressive start by Jaheim Jennings, Riverside beat Chuluota, 5-1. Jennings yielded 1 run over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 5. His record improves to 2-0. Chuluota has now lost 4 in a row.
Riverside used a clutch hit from Robby Parra to get the win. The center fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Wolverines ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.
