Morris gets 4 RBI, Leads Imperials to Win
The Chuluota Imperials trumped the Riverside Wolverines, 14-10, at Imperials Ballpark. Chuluota shortstop Vince Morris was terrific. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to 16-year old right-handed pitcher Willie Mendez in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Leonardo Vazquez took the loss. Chuluota has an impressive 42-21 record.

In the bottom of the second, Chuluota second baseman Ronnie Carter had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Carter stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 3-1, Chuluota. For the game, he went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Riverside manager Matt Augustus.
