Griffins Deal Sunchasers 11-10 Loss
The timely hitting of Chris Gutierre helped the San Antonio Griffins take down the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 11-10, in 11 innings. Gutierre went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Griffins. The Griffins saw their win-loss record go to 29-35. At the same time, the Sunchasers fell to 24-40.

Leon Delgado played the role of hero for San Antonio. In the bottom of the 11th, he launched a solo home run off Cory Singer to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was the decisive blow.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Delgado. "It made for an exciting game."
