Lopez has 3 hits to Fuel Sled Dogs Offense
The Juneau Sled Dogs turned back the Chuluota Imperials, 7-6, at Sled Dogs Ballpark. Korey Lopez, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while adding 7 RBI and scoring once. Picking up the save was Manny Martinez, his 7th. At 25-39, the Sled Dogs find themselves in 5th place in the Southern Conference West Division.

Lopez contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Juneau in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 5-3, Lopez took a fastball from Jose Vasquez and stroked the home run to left. His 36th home run of the season allowed the Sled Dogs to leap in front, 7-5.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Lopez, "but we got it done."
