The Crystal Lake Killers beat the Buckeye Local Panthers, 11-6, at Killer Stadium. Joe Best, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-3 with a home run, a triple, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Jorge Ortiz snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 3 runs on 5 hits over 4.2 innings.
