The Riverside Wolverines trumped the San Bernardino Flight, 5-2, at Ballpark of San Bernardino. Riverside right fielder Trent Laurie was terrific. He hit 2 home runs. Fernando Garcia got the win, improving to 7-4. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 9 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 3. Earning his 13th save for Riverside was Alex Gomez.

Riverside relied on the bat of Mike Hopkins to get the win. The shortstop ripped a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Wolverines ahead, 2-0. For the game, Hopkins had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
