Patton Silences Sunrise Manor Bats

The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes beat the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 4-1. Ft. Wayne pitcher and Laredo, Texas, native Dustin Patton led the way. The 4th-place Sunchasers have dropped 5 straight games.
The Earthquakes liked what they saw from Patton. The 22-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Sunchasers to no runs on 3 hits over 7.2 innings, and striking out 2.
