Lewis, Panthers Too Much for Nationals
In a high-scoring game between Buckeye Local and Jacksonville, left fielder David Lewis was a difference-maker. The 20-year-old helped Buckeye Local grab the 17-9 win. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The triumph makes Buckeye Local 21-39.

Lewis contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Buckeye Local in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 2-0, Lewis took a changeup from Jim Neal and stroked the home run to left-center. His 18th home run of the season allowed the Panthers to leap in front, 4-2.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Lewis told the Buckeye Local Chronicle.
