Raptors Get Past Ft. Wayne for 2-1 Win

Earthquakes Stadium was the site of a true pitchers' duel.
Picture Rocks Raptors starter Jim Unknown turned in a sterling performance against the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. Picture Rocks is now 25-37, Ft. Wayne 52-10.
Picture Rocks used the clutch hitting of Dylan Talarico to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Raptors ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Picture Rocks manager Matt Walker said.
