Panthers Earn 5-1 Home Win
|
Starting pitcher Juan Avila was a major factor in the 5-1 Buckeye Local Panthers triumph over the Riverside Wolverines. The winner was Buckeye Local reliever Victor Aguilar, now 3-3. The loser was Gavin Feeley. After today's action, Buckeye Local sits at 26-32, while Riverside falls to 37-21.
Mitch Adams took Riverside hurler Melvin Flores deep in the bottom of the seventh. His grand slam home run put the Panthers on top, 5-1. In all, Adams had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
