The Riverside Wolverines defeated the Juneau Sled Dogs, 8-6. Doing his part was first baseman Marc Laur, who was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Jonathan Miron earned the save for Riverside, his 14th of the year. The Wolverines saw their win-loss record go to 40-19. At the same time, the Sled Dogs fell to 41-18.

Laur had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the seventh, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Wolverines went on to win.

"We maximized our offense today," said Riverside skipper Matt Augustus. "That makes everyone's life easier."
