Chuluota beat Jacksonville at Nationals Park, eking out a 5-4 win. The triumph was primarily due to second baseman Julio Rosas. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Chuluota raised its record to 36-21 with the win.

Rosas had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Alexis Mendez, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Imperials a 4-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Rosas.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Rosas, "and then get after it again."
