Big Day for Norwood in 10-5 Sled Dogs Win
The Juneau Sled Dogs welcomed the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers to an afternoon game at Sled Dogs Ballpark.

Juneau defeated Sunrise Manor, 10-5, in large part due to 19-year old center fielder Chris Norwood. Norwood drove in 3 runs. The center fielder had 2 doubles and 1 home run for the Sled Dogs. Today's win puts Juneau at 40-16, while Sunrise Manor falls to 23-33.

The Sunchasers had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Sled Dogs going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old center fielder Kalle Hovinen came to the plate. Hovinen hit a 3-run home run on a 1-0 cutter from Sunrise Manor hurler Rich Vega. It was Hovinen's 8th home run of the year.

"Chris was ready to go. Big day for him," said Juneau manager Jordan Nolasco.
