Wolverines Snatch Late-Game, 5-4 Win
Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Riverside Wolverines and Chuluota Imperials.

Chuluota got a terrific game from shortstop Zach Scott. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Riverside, 5-4. Scott was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Antonino Sauli in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Ronnie Miller took the loss.

Riverside used a clutch hit from Josh Kelly to snatch the win. The third baseman belted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Wolverines ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Chuluota manager Victor Gonzalez. "But we decided not to take it."

Riverside has an impressive 36-18 record.
