Jackpot Suffer 13-0 Drubbing
The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes used an offensive barrage to beat the Biloxi Jackpot, 13-0, at Earthquakes Stadium. Josh Botello, who is tied for 9th in the SC in extra base hits with 25, led the way, going 2-for-3 for Ft. Wayne. Matt Schapp earned the win for Ft. Wayne. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing no runs on no hits, while striking out 9. With the win, he raised his record to 6-0. Ft. Wayne, now 48-8, has won 14 straight games.

Botello put Ft. Wayne up, 6-0, when he hit a grand slam home run off Jim Unknown in the bottom of the fourth. His 13th home run of the season helped the Earthquakes capture the win.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Biloxi manager Steve Warzecha. "We got trounced."
