Brooks Slugs Earthquakes to 10-6 Win
The timely hitting of Marc Brooks helped the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes down the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 10-6. Brooks was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Earthquakes. Picking up his 16th save was 20-year old right-handed pitcher Ray LeCain. Ft. Wayne has now won 11 games in a row.

The Earthquakes took the lead, 2-0, in the top of the third inning. Facing Sunrise Manor hurler Eddie Mojica with one out, Troy Nelson hit a run-scoring single.

"That's what makes it fun -- everybody's jacked up because of the way we've been winning," said Ft. Wayne manager Du-sung Moon.
