The Riverside Wolverines got a stellar performance from pitcher Dane Roberts, who handcuffed the Haviland offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Wolverines Ballpark. The Wolverines improved to 33-16.

The Wolverines got a big at-bat from center fielder Mike Bolden. For the game, Bolden went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Riverside a 2-0 lead.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Bolden told the Riverside Chronicle.
