The Haviland Thrashers, behind a great outing from Rafael Cruz, who leads the SC in strikeouts with 71, defeated the Picture Rocks Raptors, 3-1, at Ballpark of Haviland. The winner was Cruz. He threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Shigeru Nakamura. Earning his 9th save of the year was Edgar Ambrosio.
