A 3-RBI performance from shortstop Takao Fujii, who is tied for 10th in the SC in home runs with 14, led the Chuluota Imperials to a win over the Riverside Wolverines, 7-2. The winner was Marco Torres in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Leonardo Vazquez took the loss. The last-place Imperials own a record of 15-35.

The Imperials got an important contribution from right fielder Alex Velazquez, who in the bottom of the second knocked a 3-1 fastball to left-center for a 2-run triple. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Imperials ahead, 4-0.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Chuluota skipper Larry Voltaire.
