Late Rally by Sunchasers Locks Up 7-5 Win
The Sunrise Manor Sunchasers overcame a pretty good performance by Riverside third baseman Joaquin Gomez, beating the Wolverines, 7-5, at Wolverines Ballpark. Gomez went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Eddie Carver, credited with the win in relief, is now 5-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1 innings. The second-place Sunchasers go to 29-20.

Elijah Lewis provided a timely hit. The Sunrise Manor second baseman delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Sunchasers on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Sunrise Manor manager Shawn Banks.
