Sled Dogs Topple Imperials, 15-6, as Jimenez Shines
The Juneau Sled Dogs used the hitting of designated hitter Gerardo Jimenez to subdue the Chuluota Imperials, 15-6. For the game, Jimenez was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Juneau pitcher Shinpei Oyama got the win. He's now 6-1. Kyle Young was tagged with the loss. With the win, Juneau goes to 35-12, while the Imperials fall to 29-18.

With Juneau leading 8-6 in the top of the sixth, Jimenez hit a fastball from Bobby Rodriguez for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Sled Dogs ahead, 11-6.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Juneau manager Jordan Nolasco.
