Sunrise Manor starter Luis Orosco pitched well against the Haviland Thrashers at Field of the Sunchasers. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-2. Sunrise Manor, with the win, climbs to 16-31.

Ricardo Garcia had a big 2-run home run for the Sunchasers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Sunrise Manor leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a slider from Russ Burleson, who leads the SC in strikeouts with 60, and punished it. The result was his 10th home run of the season, which put the Sunchasers on top, 4-0.

Garcia attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
