Crystal Lake Slaps 2-0 Loss on Picture Rocks
|
The Crystal Lake Killers claimed a close win over the Picture Rocks Raptors, due in large part to Miguel Estrada. The Crystal Lake right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-0 win. Brian Kyzar earned the save for Crystal Lake, his 16th of the year. The first-place Killers have a one-game lead in their division.
Crystal Lake used the hitting of Clint Arnold to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Killers on top, 2-0. For the game, Arnold had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
Arnold called the win "a collective effort."
