The Tulsa Captains and Haviland Thrashers obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

Haviland got a terrific game from third baseman Danny Cruz. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Tulsa, 5-4. Cruz was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Tulsa pitcher Jim Unknown got the win. He's now 1-0. Chris Schreurs was tagged with the loss.

Mario Prieto, who is tied for 7th in the SC in triples with 2, contributed to the Tulsa win with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
