Canady, Earthquakes Serve Up 7-3 Win
The first-place Ft. Wayne Earthquakes picked up another win.

The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes topped the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 7-3, with youngster Dan Canady playing a key role. Canady slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Earthquakes in the win. The win was credited to Jeremy Ferraro in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Glenn Yarrington took the loss.

Ft. Wayne got a lift in the bottom of the first from designated hitter Justin Dawson, who hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 18th home run of the season put the Earthquakes up, 4-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Canady said.

The Earthquakes now have a record of 34-7.
