Gray Hits Two Homers in 8-4 Win for Chuluota
The Chuluota Imperials topped the Picture Rocks Raptors, 8-4, with youngster Mike Gray playing a key role. Gray slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Imperials in the win. Danny Williams, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. The Imperials sit in 5th place in the Southern Conference East Division with a record of 17-21.

Gray contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Chuluota in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 2-1, Gray took a fastball from Jim Unknown and stroked the home run to right-center. His 12th home run of the season allowed the Imperials to leap in front, 3-2.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Gray.
