Towne Excels in 16-9 Juneau Win
The Juneau Sled Dogs grabbed a win, 16-9, over the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes at Earthquakes Stadium. Juneau catcher Ben Towne was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Juneau reliever Felix Salas picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Tome Sangwine absorbed the loss. The first-place Sled Dogs now have a win-loss record of 24-9.

With no one out in the top of the fifth, Kalle Hovinen put Juneau in front, 5-4, with a run-scoring single. The Sled Dogs went on to win the ballgame.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Towne.
