The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes handed the Riverside Wolverines a loss at Wolverines Ballpark. The final score was 6-3. Major production was provided by Chris McCarty for Ft. Wayne. In the top of the ninth, 20-year old left fielder Colby Freese delivered for Ft. Wayne. That's when he belted a solo home run, putting the Earthquakes up, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a climactic one.
