The first-place Crystal Lake Killers picked up another win.

Behind a solid performance from first baseman Rafael Miranda, the Crystal Lake Killers defeated the Chuluota Imperials, 10-5. Miranda was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Killers. The Killers, at 18-15, sit in first place in the Southern Conference West Division.

In the bottom of the sixth, Crystal Lake left fielder Justin Wish put his team on top. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 17th home run of the year. Chuluota pitcher Stewart Elliott served it up. Just like that, the Killers were ahead, 6-5.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Wish.
