Chuluota Roughed Up By Thrashers

With first baseman Matt Hutzel leading the charge, the Haviland Thrashers defeated the Chuluota Imperials, 8-3, at Ballpark of Haviland. Hutzel, who is tied for 7th in the SC in doubles with 6, went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Chuluota has now lost 5 in a row.
In the bottom of the 4th, the Thrashers grabbed the lead on a two-out home run by Jim Unknown. Haviland at the time was trailing 2-1, but Unknown's 3-run home run off Jordan Felton put his team in front.
In comments to the Haviland Times, Unknown insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
