In a close game at Imperials Ballpark, the Juneau Sled Dogs edged the Chuluota Imperials, 4-3. Juneau first baseman Korey Lopez stood apart with his performance. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Juneau occupies last place in the Southern Conference West Division at 12-19.

Lopez contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Juneau in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Lopez took a fastball from Hisato Morita and stroked the home run to center. His 16th home run of the season allowed the Sled Dogs to leap in front, 2-1.
