Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Chuluota Imperials and Riverside Wolverines.

The Riverside Wolverines could not turn a fine performance from left fielder Jim Hamilton into a win. Instead, the Chuluota Imperials prevailed, 12-3. Hamilton went 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 singles. Chuluota reliever Roberto Morales picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Manny Garcia was saddled with the loss.

The Imperials got an important contribution from first baseman Guillaume Arnaud, who in the top of the first punched a 0-1 fastball to left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Imperials ahead, 4-0.

Riverside manager Matt Augustus said: "We'll rinse this one off and get ready for the next game."

Chuluota is third in the Southern Conference East Division with a record of 22-9.
