Chris Schreurs, who is tied for 4th in the SC in innings pitched with 40.0, never let the Wolverines get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Thrashers to a win, 4-0. Haviland raised its record to 20-12 with the win.

Schreurs confounded Riverside hitters. Over 8 innings, he allowed no runs on 2 hits.

"My job is to throw quality pitches, go as deep as I can, and give us an opportunity," said Schreurs.
