The Imperials grabbed a win, 4-3, at Imperials Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from San Bernardino pitcher Robert Velasquez. Velasquez went 6 innings and allowed no runs. San Bernardino is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.
New Orleans, Louisiana-born Ben McCabe came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Imperials trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Chuluota on top.
