Thrashers Solve Texans, 5-2
|
The Haviland Thrashers topped the Corpus Christi Texans, 5-2, with youngster Nate Sheridan playing a key role. Sheridan was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Thrashers in the win. Brad Porretta earned the win to go to 5-1. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts in 7.2 innings of work. Haviland has now won 6 straight.
Justin Bobb had a big 3-run home run for the Thrashers in the bottom of the sixth inning.
