Canales goes 4-for-5 to Fuel Panthers Offense
|
The Buckeye Local Panthers dealt the Riverside Wolverines a 6-4 loss at Wolverines Ballpark. Alberto Canales was the star on offense. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Buckeye Local now sits at 15-12, while Riverside falls to 12-15.
With Buckeye Local leading 5-4 in the top of the ninth, Canales hit a run-scoring single off Riverside hurler Jorge Ospina. It was the 40th hit of the season for Canales and put his team ahead, 6-4.
