Good production from second baseman Mikkel Goldbaek helped the Jacksonville Nationals topple the Haviland Thrashers, 14-4. Goldbaek was 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Nationals. Jacksonville pitcher Bernie Acosta earned the win, hiking his record to 4-0. Alexis Garcia suffered the loss. The victory gives Jacksonville a record of 24-4.

First Baseman Kenneth Bates made an impact for Jacksonville, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Alexis Garcia in the top of the fourth. For the contest, Bates was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2.
