Kelly Hits Two Dingers, Wolverines Win, 7-4
Behind a fine performance from Josh Kelly, the Riverside Wolverines knocked off the Biloxi Jackpot, 7-4. Kelly slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Wolverines. The win was credited to Dave Martinez in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Jim Unknown took the loss. The Jackpot fall to 6-18 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2022 season.

Kelly had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch slider from Jim Unknown, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Wolverines a 4-3 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Kelly.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Kelly. "You've got to get results."
