Futrell Hits 2 home runs in Flight Win
The San Bernardino Flight took on the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers at Ballpark of San Bernardino.

The San Bernardino Flight defeated the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 15-7. Doing his part was first baseman Jake Futrell, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. San Bernardino pitcher Ayres Palhao got the win. He's now 1-1. Danny Rodriguez was tagged with the loss.

Futrell contributed in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, he reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat among others that helped San Bernardino get the win.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Nick Neumann.

The Sunchasers fall to 10-14 and continue their uneven start to the 2026 season.
