The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes and Riverside Wolverines put on quite a show.

The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes faced a tough opponent in Riverside pitcher Ken Hicks, but found a way to pull out the victory at Wolverines Ballpark by a final score of 7-3 in 15 innings. Hicks went 9.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Ft. Wayne reliever Jeremy Ferraro got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Matheus Arispe was tagged with the loss.

Ft. Wayne took the lead, 4-3, on Justin Dawson's 11th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Riverside pitcher Matheus Arispe in the top of the 15th.

Said Ft. Wayne manager Du-sung Moon: "Our approach was outstanding all night long."

The Earthquakes, now 19-5, have played inspired baseball.
