The Chuluota Imperials pinned a convincing loss on the Crystal Lake Killers, 9-3, at Killer Stadium. Vince Morris was a main factor in the win. He was 3 for 6 with a home run and a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Chuluota. Chuluota reliever Jake Sheppard picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Tomohito Tomoshino absorbed the loss. Chuluota now has a record of 16-6.

Morris contributed a big hit, a 2-run triple, for Chuluota in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Morris took a fastball from Tomohito Tomoshino and stroked the triple to left-center. His 1st triple of the season allowed the Imperials to leap in front, 3-2.
