The game was a shootout. To win it, the Riverside Wolverines had to outpace the Chuluota Imperials. The final score was 15-11, Wolverines. Neither team lacked hitting stars. For Riverside, shortstop John Richins was the foremost. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The Imperials continue "in the red" at 8-14.

Kyle Young drove in one run for Riverside. The 19-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the 11th. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 11-11 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Huang Chai. It was his 1st RBI of the season.

"You just play the game as right as you can and see where you end up," said Wolverines manager Chris Rauch.
