Thrashers Earn Late Win
Haviland left-hander Brad Porretta helped his team edge Picture Rocks by the score of 2-1. Porretta kept the opposing lineup in check. Reliever Jaheim Sneed picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Jim Unknown took the loss. Max Mascareno collected his 6th save.

Evan McCulley went 1-3 with a walk against the Raptors. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Haviland in front, 2-1.

"Brad is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Haviland manager Matt Conners.
