The Haviland Thrashers outlasted Mike Brown and the Riverside Wolverines, 10-8. Brown was impressive in the loss. The Riverside right fielder belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Now 16-4, the 2022 Thrashers have been phenomenal so far.

Haviland used the clutch hitting of Paul Nicolopoulos to snag the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Thrashers ahead, 10-8. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Matt Conners.
