Wolverines Topple Thrashers with Late Rally
The Riverside Wolverines outlasted Justin Bobb and the Haviland Thrashers, 9-7. Bobb was impressive in the loss. The Haviland right fielder was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Antonino Sauli picked up the win in relief. Jaheim Sneed took the loss for Haviland. Losses have been rare for the Thrashers, who are now 15-4.

Riverside got a clutch hit from Kyle Himes. The pinch hitter launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"The crowd lost its ever-loving mind today," said a grinning Himes.
